【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverscontinuousgrainflowforgedcarbonandalloysteelcrankshaftsformediumspeeddieselandnaturalgasengines.1.2Thesteelusedinthemanufactureoftheforgingsisrequiredtobevacuumdegassed.1.3Thechoiceofsteelcompositiongradeforagivenstrengthclassisnormallymadebytheforgingsupplier,unlessotherwisespecifiedbythepurchaser.1.4Provisionismadefortreatmentofdesignatedsurfacesofthecrankshafttoprovideenhancedfatiguestrength,orwearresistance,orboth.1.5Exceptasspecificallyrequiredinthisspecification,allprovisionsofSpecificationA788/A788Mapply.1.6Unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicable"M"specificationdesignation,thematerialshallbefurnishedtotheinch-poundunits.1.7Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSI(metric)unitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.WithinthetextandtablestheSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.
